Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Workers Compensation Case Manager to join our team! In this vital role, you will coordinate and oversee workers’ compensation claims, ensuring efficient case management from initial intake through resolution. Your expertise will help facilitate timely recovery and support for injured workers while collaborating closely with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a supportive and growth-focused organization.

Responsibilities

Manage the full lifecycle of workers’ compensation claims, including intake, assessment, and ongoing case management
Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate medical treatment plans aligned with injury needs
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments utilizing clinical knowledge of physiology and injury mechanisms
Facilitate discharge planning, post-acute care, and home health services to promote recovery
Maintain detailed medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and health policy standards
Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems to document case progress accurately and efficiently
Communicate effectively with clients, healthcare professionals, insurance carriers, and legal teams to ensure seamless case flow

Experience

Critical care experience in hospital or emergency settings such as ICU or Level I/II trauma centers
Hands-on experience in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or medical-surgical units
Knowledge of health regulation policies and managed care practices
Proven ability to perform patient assessments including vital signs and diagnostic evaluations
Experience managing patients in inpatient or post-acute care environments such as hospice or home health services
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for medical records management
Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and clinical case management principles
Prior roles involving discharge planning, utilization management, or clinical intake processes in hospital or clinic settings
