Full Job Description

PORTFOLIO COMMUNITY MANAGER

Management Company is seeking a PROFESSIONAL AND RELIABLE MANAGER to oversee a portfolio of Community Associations in the San Diego County.

The Role: Responsible for the overall supervision of portfolio community associations, and has contact with Boards of Directors, Homeowners, and private contractors serving the association. The Associate Manager will interact with clients, including homeowners, vendors, board members, and committee members.

· Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance

Responsibilities

· Assist in preparing, scanning and distributing Board Meeting Agenda Packets

· Attend regular and Annual Association meetings, and complete minutes

· Field phone calls and respond to inquiries from homeowners and vendors

· Update regularly calendars and records of the Association

· Communicate with vendors at direction of management to obtain bids for HOA maintenance

· Create vendor work order and track completion when requested by the board of directors

· Conduct quarterly inspection of building facilities and/or association property

· Provide recommendations to Board regarding capital expenditures to maintain desired appearance and maintenance

· Maintain HOA calendar for inspections, renewals of insurance and meeting dates

Must have:

CACM certification

Preferred Qualifications include:

One or more years of Community Association Management

Understanding of fiscal accounting, insurance, and facilities

Flexible and responsive to the changing demands of the job

Acceptable Qualifications include:

Ability to interact positively and professionally with all levels of HOA Vendors, Owners, and Board Members

Ability to research and brainstorm effective solutions in situations with limited knowledge or information.

Ability to learn and become certified through CACM certification program.

Preferred Skills

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, and Internet

HOA Management Software (Appfolio)

Superior verbal and written communication skills

Provide excellent customer service
