Agile Offroad is seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Operations Manager to lead warehouse, receiving, inventory, and assembly operations at our Santee, California facility.
Agile Offroad specializes in aftermarket suspension, drivetrain, power, recovery, and vehicle accessory solutions for Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans, INEOS Grenadiers, and other adventure vehicles. Our warehouse supports eCommerce, wholesale dealer sales, and our on-site installation facility.
This position requires a strong working knowledge of NetSuite inventory management, including receiving, inventory transactions, work orders, and assembly builds. The Warehouse Operations Manager will lead the warehouse team while remaining actively involved in daily operations, inventory problem-solving, process development, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate is an organized and accountable leader who understands that accurate physical inventory and accurate NetSuite transactions must go hand in hand.
Key ResponsibilitiesNetSuite & Inventory Management
· Manage daily warehouse and inventory activity within NetSuite.
· Ensure item receipts, item fulfillments, inventory transfers, adjustments, work orders, and assembly builds are completed accurately and promptly.
· Maintain accurate inventory quantities, bin locations, and transaction records.
· Research and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and NetSuite.
· Identify incorrect, missing, or delayed transactions and implement corrective actions.
· Develop and utilize NetSuite saved searches, reports, and dashboards to monitor inventory and warehouse performance.
· Train warehouse employees on proper NetSuite procedures and ensure inventory is not moved without the appropriate system transaction.
· Partner with accounting, purchasing, sales, installation, and management to resolve inventory and operational issues.
Receiving & Put-Away
· Manage the complete receiving process for incoming products, components, and supplies.
· Verify shipments against purchase orders for part number, quantity, condition, and accuracy.
· Ensure incoming inventory is received correctly and promptly in NetSuite.
· Investigate shortages, overages, damaged products, incorrect shipments, and other receiving discrepancies.
· Ensure received products are properly labeled and placed in the correct bin or warehouse location.
· Maintain an organized receiving area and prevent unidentified or unreceived products from entering available inventory.
· Establish and enforce receiving procedures, verification controls, and escalation processes.
Work Orders & Assembly Builds
· Create, release, schedule, and manage NetSuite work orders for Agile Offroad kits and assembled products.
· Review sales and inventory demand to establish assembly and replenishment priorities.
· Verify component availability before releasing work orders.
· Coordinate picking, staging, assembly, inspection, and completion of builds.
· Ensure assembly builds and component consumption are accurately recorded in NetSuite.
· Monitor open work orders, component shortages, build delays, and incomplete transactions.
· Investigate and correct work-order variances and component consumption discrepancies.
· Work with operations and product management to maintain accurate bills of materials and assembly procedures.
· Ensure completed assemblies are inspected, labeled, packaged, and returned to available inventory.
Warehouse Operations
· Lead daily receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, assembly, staging, and fulfillment activities.
· Coordinate priorities across eCommerce, wholesale dealer, and on-site installation requirements.
· Ensure parts for scheduled installations are picked, verified, and staged prior to customer appointments.
· Maintain procedures for unused installation parts, returns, warranty items, damaged inventory, and other inventory movements.
· Ensure outgoing orders are accurately picked and verified before shipment.
· Reduce mis-picks, shortages, incorrect shipments, and unnecessary expedited freight.
· Optimize warehouse layout, product locations, picking paths, and space utilization.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and clearly labeled warehouse.
· Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement improvements that increase accuracy and productivity.
Inventory Control
· Maintain a high level of physical and transactional inventory accuracy.
· Develop and manage routine cycle-counting procedures.
· Investigate inventory variances and identify root causes, including receiving errors, picking errors, incorrect work-order consumption, missing transactions, and returns.
· Monitor high-value and high-velocity inventory with increased frequency.
· Review negative inventory and other inventory exceptions.
· Ensure inventory adjustments are properly researched, documented, and approved.
· Support physical inventory counts, inventory audits, and month-end/year-end inventory procedures.
Team Leadership
· Lead, coach, schedule, and develop warehouse personnel.
· Establish daily priorities based on receiving, order volume, work orders, inventory requirements, and installation schedules.
· Set clear expectations for productivity, accuracy, organization, attendance, safety, and NetSuite compliance.
· Train employees across receiving, fulfillment, assembly, cycle counting, and inventory procedures.
· Develop cross-training to provide coverage across key warehouse functions.
· Monitor employee performance and provide timely coaching and feedback.
· Address performance issues through root-cause analysis, documented expectations, and improvement plans.
· Participate in hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and disciplinary processes.
· Foster a professional culture of accountability, teamwork, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
· Remain hands-on and assist the warehouse team when operational demands require it.
SOPs, Safety & Continuous Improvement
· Develop, document, and maintain warehouse SOPs for receiving, fulfillment, work orders, assembly builds, inventory control, returns, and other key processes.
· Ensure procedures reflect both physical warehouse requirements and NetSuite transactions.
· Train employees and regularly audit compliance with established procedures.
· Use operational data to identify recurring errors and opportunities for improvement.
· Implement Lean, 5S, or similar organizational and process-improvement practices.
· Evaluate barcode scanning, warehouse technology, and automation opportunities.
· Ensure compliance with company safety policies and applicable OSHA requirements.
· Conduct routine warehouse and equipment safety inspections and address unsafe conditions promptly.
Performance & Accountability
The Warehouse Operations Manager will establish and monitor key operational metrics, including:

QualificationsRequired
· 5+ years of warehouse management, inventory control, or warehouse leadership experience.
· Strong hands-on experience using NetSuite for warehouse and inventory operations.
· Experience with NetSuite item receipts, item fulfillments, inventory transfers, adjustments, work orders, and assembly builds.
· Experience managing receiving, fulfillment, inventory control, and warehouse personnel.
· Demonstrated ability to research and resolve inventory discrepancies.
· Experience developing and enforcing warehouse SOPs.
· Strong understanding of inventory controls, cycle counting, order fulfillment, and warehouse organization.
· Experience leading employees in a fast-paced, high-SKU environment.
· Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to analyze operational data and implement measurable improvements.
· Willingness to work hands-on alongside the warehouse team when necessary.
Preferred
· Automotive, aftermarket automotive, off-road, RV, powersports, manufacturing, or distribution experience.
· Experience supporting both distribution and light manufacturing or assembly operations.
· Advanced experience with NetSuite saved searches, dashboards, inventory workflows, Bin Management, WMS, or barcode scanning.
· Experience working with bills of materials, kits, and assemblies.
· Experience supporting eCommerce, wholesale, and internal installation or service departments.
· Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, or similar process-improvement experience.
· Forklift certification or warehouse safety training.

Work Schedule & Location
Full-time, on-site — Santee, California
Monday through Friday, generally 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required for inventory counts, special projects, or operational needs.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
