National law firm seeks a qualified Compliance Operations Assistant with a great work ethic to join its team. This position is in our San Antonio Office.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized Compliance Operations Assistant to join our growing team. This individual will play a key role in supporting the firm's compliance operations by ensuring administrative processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone interested in compliance, legal operations, or the debt settlement industry.

Position Summary

The Compliance Operations Assistant supports the Compliance Department in monitoring and supervising vendors to ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal compliance standards. This role works closely with the firm's compliance attorneys and cross-functional teams to maintain accurate records, coordinate compliance activities, audit processes, and assist with reporting.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of the firm's compliance program.

Our Mission

Support the firm's commitment to integrity, transparency, and regulatory compliance by ensuring vendors and internal processes consistently meet legal and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manage compliance-related correspondence, records, and documentation while maintaining accurate and organized files.
Process and track compliance requests, including CTCs, revocations, compliance reports, and other required documentation.
Monitor shared compliance email inboxes, respond to inquiries, and escalate compliance concerns as appropriate.
Upload enrollment calls to the HACA platform and distribute compliance reports to appropriate parties.
Audit recorded phone calls to verify compliance requirements and document findings.
Track attorney KPI reporting.
Document updates to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Prepare reports, summaries, and other compliance documentation for internal review.
Provide administrative support to the Compliance Department and assist with special projects and additional duties as business needs evolve.

Previous administrative, operations, or compliance experience.

Experience in the debt settlement is a plus.
Experience reviewing recorded calls or conducting quality assurance audits is preferred.
