What You’ll Do:

As our Claims and Office Support Coordinator, you’ll ensure claims, payments, and records are handled accurately and efficiently, helping keep our programs funded and our services running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and submit insurance and third-party claims accurately and on time
Track payments, co-pays, and deductibles; reconcile billing reports
Maintain accurate and confidential billing documentation
Provide administrative and customer support by phone, email, and in person
Assist with authorizations, reports, and special billing projects
Ensure compliance with all billing and confidentiality standards
Maintain punctuality, integrity, and professionalism in all interactions
Perform other duties as assigned to support the Business Office and programs

What You Bring:

High School Diploma or GED required; additional education or certification in billing, coding, or business administration preferred
Experience in medical, insurance, or service-related billing (preferred but not required)
Proficiency with Excel and Square; strong computer and data-entry skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to organize work, meet deadlines, and adapt to change
Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards

Minimum Requirements:

Experience: Experience in medical billing, claims processing, insurance coordination, or a similar administrative support role.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management. Able to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Technology: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and billing systems or databases.
Communication: Professional phone and email communication skills; ability to interact with internal staff and external agencies.
Confidentiality: Able to manage sensitive health, financial, and personal data in strict compliance with HIPAA and company standards.
Availability: Full-time, on-site position with consistent attendance and punctuality required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Medicaid waiver billing, third-party payer systems, or insurance claims reconciliation.
Knowledge of HIPAA, CMS, or other healthcare compliance regulations.
Experience supporting a multi-service organization or working in a non-profit healthcare or human services setting.
Familiarity with prior authorizations, service documentation, and electronic billing systems.

While prior experience is preferred, we’re willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
