Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will work closely with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans that promote positive behavioral changes.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Implement evidence-based interventions using applied behavior analysis techniques to address challenging behaviors.
Monitor client progress and make data-driven adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
Provide training and support to staff, caregivers, and families on behavior management strategies.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
Collaborate with other professionals in the field of behavioral health, special education, and developmental disabilities to enhance patient care.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in applied behavior analysis.

Qualifications

Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
**Applicants must reside within 50 miles of the Georgia state border.**
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health challenges is preferred.
Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
Ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop tailored intervention strategies.
A background in special education or related fields is a plus.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.
