Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read blueprints. This role involves working on various projects in an industrial environment, utilizing a range of welding techniques and equipment to produce high-quality products. Hourly pay is based on welding & fabrication skills.

Duties

Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials to fuse metal parts and other materials ensuring strong and durable bonds. Flux Core welding a plus. Proficient in cutting and grinding.
Read, understand and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine project specifications.
Proficient in the use of hand tools ( levels, squares, tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc) and power tools.
Operate fabrication machinery and equipment including forklifts safely to move materials around the work area.
Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills to ensure precision in work.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
MUST have a strong commitment to producing high-quality, precise work with excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications

Proven experience in industrial site environments with a focus on fabrication and welding.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Familiarity with machining processes is a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Knowledge of safety protocols related to welding and fabrication tasks.
