Full Job Description

Position Summary:

This position handles daily activities related to the AR aging. This would include making calls on past due accounts, updating accounts for current contact information, processing CC payments, posting receipts.

Education Required: High school diploma.

Experience Required:

3 years of AR experience preferred. Experience with a computer including Microsoft office suite and some form of accounting software.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Work AR aging, making calls on past due accounts, getting payment commitments and recording notes in the ERP system

· Update ERP system with current billing contact information

· Process credit card payments for customers on account

· Process cash receipts including Canada

o Lockbox

o ACH

o Checks

· Research customer accounts on overages and shortages

· Come to resolution with customers and potentially issue DM as needed

· Reviews accounts on credit hold for release of further orders

· Pursue collections on severely past due accounts

· Process credits for freight, fees, and pricing issues

· Monitor AR inbox for customer inquiries and payment remittances

· Work with sales staff on specific customer related issues and requests

· Set up national accounts

Physical Demands:

This position is mostly sedentary 6+ hours a day. Work is done in an office environment and requires ability to type for periods of time. There is occasional lifting of boxes up to 20 pounds. Most work is done using a computer and screen time will be heavy.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
