Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team and oversee daily kitchen operations. This pivotal role involves managing food preparation, ensuring exceptional food quality, maintaining safety standards, and fostering a positive team environment. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for culinary excellence, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience in food service management. As a Kitchen Manager, you will drive operational efficiency, uphold food safety protocols, and deliver outstanding customer service to ensure our guests enjoy memorable dining experiences.

Duties

Supervise all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high standards of quality and consistency
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability
Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to promote skill development and teamwork
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen area
Coordinate shift management, including scheduling staff and ensuring smooth operations during busy hours
Conduct regular food production audits and assist with menu planning to meet customer expectations

Requirements

Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in cooking and food preparation
Demonstrated management skills with experience supervising hospitality teams or managing kitchen staff
Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
Knowledge of inventory control, food safety management, and budgeting principles within the food industry
Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills for team training and managerial responsibilities
Experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus
Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills for cash handling, P&L analysis, and inventory management
Hospitality management background with experience in managing hospitality teams or restaurant operations
