Full Job Description

Assistant Automotive Service Manager

Join a Winning Team

We're looking for an experienced Assistant Service / Drive Manager to provide front-end leadership support for a high-performing service department. In this role, you'll partner with the Service Manager to coach and develop Service Advisors, oversee daily service drive operations, improve workflow, and deliver outstanding customer experiences while driving productivity, profitability, and CSI.

What You'll Do

· Coach and develop Service Advisors to improve performance, sales, and customer satisfaction.

· Monitor advisor productivity, repair order quality, and process consistency.

· Support daily service drive operations, including workflow, dispatch, scheduling, and customer flow.

· Assist with customer concerns, estimates, warranty issues, and service lane coverage.

· Partner with technicians, parts, and sales teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

· Recruit, train, and develop Service Advisors.

· Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and training requirements.

What We're Looking For

· Previous experience as a Service Drive Manager, Service Lead Advisor, Assistant Service Manager, or similar dealership leadership role.

· Understanding of dealership service operations, repair order processes, scheduling, and customer-pay vs. warranty and internal repairs.

· Positive leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

· Experience with dealership management systems such as CDK, Reynolds, Tekion, XTime, or similar.

· Knowledge of CSI/NPS programs and video inspection platforms.

· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

· Ability to work a dealership schedule, including Saturdays as needed.
