Job Overview
Join our team as an Artisan Furniture Builder, where your craftsmanship and attention to detail will bring custom furniture pieces to life. In this dynamic role, you will transform raw materials into beautifully crafted furniture, combining traditional woodworking techniques with modern fabrication methods. Your expertise will help create unique, high-quality pieces that showcase artistry and precision. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment dedicated to excellence and innovation in furniture making.

Duties

Interpret blueprints, schematics, and design specifications to accurately construct custom furniture pieces.
Use hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, assemble, and finish wood and other materials.
Perform detailed trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and cabinetry work to ensure precise fit and finish.
Install fixtures such as doors, drawers, hardware, and decorative elements with skillful craftsmanship.
Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
Handle heavy lifting safely during material handling and assembly processes.
Collaborate with designers and clients to ensure the final product meets specifications and expectations.

Experience

Proven experience in woodworking, cabinetry, or furniture fabrication with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings.
Hands-on experience with various construction trades including trim carpentry, framing, masonry, roofing, siding, and metal stud framing is a plus.
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
Knowledge of restoration industry practices such as water damage restoration, mold remediation, or structural repairs is advantageous.
Background in manufacturing or remodeling environments demonstrating versatility across multiple construction disciplines.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for large-scale furniture projects while maintaining safety standards. This role is ideal for a motivated artisan who thrives on craftsmanship excellence and enjoys bringing creative visions into reality through skilled construction techniques. Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
