Job Description

As the grants administrator you will oversee every aspect of the grants process for SACA and its subsidiaries and affiliates. You will be responsible for all funding requests, communications and relationships which are essential and required for the organization to accomplish its mission. In addition, you will assist in developing and implementing funding strategies that support organizational priorities, program sustainability, and growth opportunities. You will set standards and deadlines for proposals, ensuring proposals are accurate and in compliance with established standards and guidelines. You will also ensure that all reporting requirements are completed in accordance with the grant/ funding agreements working in collaboration with pertinent program staff and fiscal team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Establish operating policies and procedures.

· Work in collaboration with program managers in writing grants.

· Prepares and submits competitive, well organized and persuasive applications and proposals to governmental agencies, corporate, community and family foundations, philanthropic organizations and the private sector.

· Prepares and submits all reports as requested by current government, foundation and private funders. Works with SACA personnel, the CFO and other members of management to present all required expenditure reports, outcomes statistics and performance indicators as requested by the funder.

· Searches, identifies and monitors sources for new funding opportunities within all levels of government, corporate, community and family foundations, philanthropic organizations and the private sector.

· Coordinate actions with program officials regarding administrative and programmatic issues.

· Communicate expectations and reinforce requirements with grantees.

· Analyze requested budgets and determine awarded budgets.

· Serve as technical resource for grant recipients with knowledge of existing and new federal regulations and guidelines.

· Review and understand grants and associated legal documents.

· Inform grantees about funding opportunities and oversee the proposal planning process.

· Maintain and verify payment records, review invoices, and record receipts.

· Determine the eligibility of programs to calculate payments, generate financial reports and transactions, and coordinate with the management team for project implementation.

· Follow strict procedures and protocols to ensure that the budget adheres to internal and any external guidelines and requirements.

· Collaborate with the CEO, CFO, Senior Management Team, and Program Managers to monitor grant revenues, expenditures, measurable outcomes, performance indicators, and compliance requirements. Provide regular reports to leadership to ensure accountability and successful achievement of grant-funded objectives.

· Coordinate with the CEO, CFO and Senior Management regarding funding strategies.

· Maintain a comprehensive grants management system that tracks all funding opportunities, submitted applications, awarded grants, funding amounts, reporting deadlines, grant periods, outcomes, expenditures, and renewal opportunities.

· Cultivate and sustain relationships with funders through the community to promote SACA’s mission and our work to develop partnerships, and to ensure access to valuable information and emerging opportunities.

· Coordinate meetings, site visits, presentations, and communications with prospective and current funders to promote SACA's mission, programs, and impact.

· Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, corporate partners, foundations, philanthropic organizations, and community stakeholders to strengthen funding opportunities and increase organizational visibility.

· Seek additional funding sources (grant or foundation) to support, expand, and develop new programming in alignment with the vision of SACA.

· Create, manage, and maintain program files and records.

· Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience level:

2-4 years in a similar role.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to handle materials. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
