Position Title

Customer Service Representative

Employment Status & Work Hours

Non-Exempt, Full-Time,

Onsite in Lancaster, PA

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Position Summary

The Customer Service Representative is the primary point of contact for customers, delivering an exceptional service experience that reflects the FASTSIGNS commitment to responsiveness, quality, and partnership. This role proactively engages customers throughout their journey by providing timely follow-up, answering questions, resolving service issues, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure every project is completed successfully.

The Customer Service Representative builds lasting customer relationships through consistent communication, connects customers with the appropriate sales resources when needed, and helps ensure every interaction is positive, efficient, and solution-oriented. This position is focused on creating an outstanding customer experience and fostering long-term customer loyalty rather than direct sales or order entry.

Compensation & Benefits

$23 - $25 per hour

What You'll Do

Respond promptly to new website inquiries by contacting customers shortly after they submit a request, introducing yourself as their primary customer service contact, assessing their needs, and connecting them with the appropriate sales representative.
Conduct post-delivery follow-up calls to verify orders were received on time, ensure all items arrived in good condition, and identify and resolve any delivery concerns.
Manage customer service inquiries related to order status, damaged shipments, or missing products by gathering accurate information, documenting issues, and submitting rework or claims requests according to company procedures.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer concerns are routed appropriately and followed through to resolution.
Support rework processing by accurately documenting customer issues and facilitating communication between customers and internal departments.
Build and maintain positive customer relationships through professional, responsive, and solution-oriented communication.
Participate in proactive customer outreach initiatives, including seasonal and promotional campaigns, to remind customers of upcoming signage needs and introduce relevant products and services.
Utilize company-provided marketing materials and collateral to support customer engagement and identify opportunities for additional business.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong customer service, communication, and relationship management skills.
Proven ability to meet deadlines with strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
Experience with administrative processes including managing electronic files, data, and records.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software or similar tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred experience with HubSpot or similar CRMs
