Lititz – Full-Time Recruitment Coordinator

As a Recruitment Coordinator at Luthercare, you will play an important role in our organization’s recruiting practices, helping us build a dynamic workforce. Our team members provide caring support to older adults and children at senior living communities and childcare and early learning centers across Lancaster and Lebanon counties. You will be part of a team of dedicated professionals who want to provide the best customer service and care to the residents, children, and families we serve.
We’re currently seeking a full-time Recruitment Coordinator who would be based at the Luther Acres senior living community in Lititz, PA. The position may require some travel to our other campuses as well as recruitment events. This non-exempt level position is 80 hours biweekly, Monday-Friday.

WHAT YOU DO:
As a Recruitment Coordinator at Luthercare, your organizational, communication, and customer service skills are key to supporting the effective and efficient operations of our talent acquisition efforts. You will do this by performing a variety of duties, including, but not limited to:
- Job Posting and Management: Regularly post jobs on recruitment applications such as Chattr, Indeed, and various other job boards. Refresh job postings in alignment with recruitment priorities. Assist in the management of the open positions process.

Candidate Screening and Interviews: Conduct phone screens for basic positions and cover for the lead recruiter when necessary. Schedule in-person interviews with hiring managers and maintain communication touchpoints throughout the recruitment process.

Event Participation: Attend and assist with job fairs and recruitment events as required.

Candidate Communication: Follow up with candidates via calls and emails, particularly those who previously applied or did not respond initially.
- Candidate Evaluation: Assist in evaluating candidate applications, completing phone interviews, and managing hiring packets in coordination with hiring managers.

Referral and Coordination: Refer suitable candidates to the recruitment manager or hiring supervisor. Provide support in coordinating recruitment projects and related services.

Reporting and Data Management: Compile reports for recruitment tools, manage data entry for the candidate pipeline from job fairs and recruitment events. Maintain records of manager interviews and candidate progress in the HR pipeline.

Consultation and Development: Consult with the recruitment manager to understand recruitment goals, staff needs, and job objectives. Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of recruitment, employment policies, practices, and regulations

Process Improvement: Assist in identifying issues affecting recruitment and implement activities to continuously improve the recruitment process.

Administrative Support: Serve as the first point of contact for candidates, particularly on the day of the interview via email, phone and in person walk ins. Compile and distribute hiring manager packets and assist the recruitment manager with various administrative duties as needed.

Attend and participate in staff meetings, projects, special events, committees, and continuing education sessions as required. Completes mandatory training and competencies as assigned.

Adheres to all Luthercare standards, applicable federal/state regulations and follows general safety protocols.

Luther Acres – located in the charming, historic town of Lititz – is a Continuing Care Retirement Community with a long history of providing excellent care and services. It is part of Luthercare, which is a not-for-profit, faith-based, and mission-driven organization. Luthercare provides a network of services through its full continuum of care with three communities in Lancaster and Lebanon Counties. Luther Acres is its largest community, with nearly 600 residents living across its independent living cottages and apartments, personal care apartments, and skilled nursing healthcare center.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in recruitment, HR, or a customer service-facing role.

Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in phone and email communication.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with candidates and team members at all levels.

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and complete projects within set deadlines.

High School Diploma or Equivalent
PREFERRED JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES/EDUCATION:
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools
