What You'll Do as a Settlement Coordinator

Serve as the central point of coordination and communication between buyers, lenders, title companies, and internal teams, providing updates and helping keep settlements on track.

Prepare settlement documents and closing paperwork, making sure details are accurate, complete, and ready for closing day.

Coordinate timelines, communication, and documentation to keep settlements moving forward smoothly and on schedule.

Review contracts, settlement documents, and financial information to support accurate closings and revenue reporting.

Process construction loan advances and settlement transactions within the company's accounting systems.

Support welcome-home preparations and other details that help create a memorable experience for new homeowners.

Partner with the finance and sales teams to help deliver a seamless transition from construction completion to settlement.
Our Ideal Settlement Coordinator

Industry Knowledge: Experience in real estate settlements, mortgage lending, loan operations, accounting, or a related field.

Tech Savvy: Comfortable learning new systems. Experience with Hyphen and Sage Intacct is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel is required.

Attention to Detail: Commitment to producing accurate work, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring documents and financial information are complete and correct.

Organization & Time Management: Ability to manage multiple settlements, deadlines, and priorities while keeping details and communication on track.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with buyers, lenders, title companies, and team members.

Problem Solving: Ability to prioritize effectively, think critically, and navigate challenges to keep settlements moving forward.
