We are looking for a Controller for our Bristol, PA location.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for all technical plant accounting and internal controls for 2 US manufacturing sites (single general ledger)
Core team member of the finance team responsible for the design, implementation, testing and go-live for the finance & accounting systems
Ownership and oversight of the balance sheet and P&L preparation along with monthly performance analysis
Ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness of monthly performance reporting requirements
Support planning and analysis activities including budget and forecasting
Oversee the cost accounting function and process’.
Ensure that manufacturing variances are properly identified, classified and analyzed. Work with operations management to provide insight as to the nature of variances and operational improvement opportunities
Collaborate with plant management and other departments to discuss accounting issues, policy interpretations, cost distributions and saving initiatives, inventory and fixed asset controls / results
Directly communicate with plant and operations management regarding all material and expense expenditures.
Coordinate with external tax and audit partners.
Perform other duties as required
Demonstrate a deliberate focus on Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Customer Satisfaction

Qualifications/Skills Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
CPA license or public accounting experience preferred
Minimum 5 years cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience managing multi site general ledger.
Proficiency in accounting software with special emphasis on SAP cloud based general ledger.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
Able to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction
