Full Job Description

The Happy Teeth team is growing! We are looking for an amazing EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) to join our team!

We are a pediatric dental team with locations in Levittown and Southampton, PA (both ~30 min north of Philadelphia).

We started as a team to create an environment that we would love to work at. We are looking for an EFDA that has a similar core focus: Education, Prevention, Family, and Technology.

Education- we encourage all of our staff to grow and further his/her education. We spend a tremendous amount of time educating our patients.
Prevention- we stress the need to prevent the disease process.
Family- our own families, our work family, and our patient family. We stress a productive yet relaxed atmosphere.
Technology- we integrate emerging technologies in our practice to provide optimal dental care for our patients.

Skills/Experience (preferred- these can be developed with the right candidate):

-Must have a PA X-ray license.

- Must be ready to start work with all paperwork complete or willing to paperwork completed ASAP (child abuse certification, background check, etc).

- Must be confident and comfortable working with children and teenagers

- We provide training/coaching to the right assistant.

- ****Must feel confident with most (if not all) pediatric restorative procedures including, composite filling placement, assisting doctor during operative procedures****

Compensation:

- We offer competitive compensation- $30-$40/hr depending on experience and abilities of the EFDA.

- We will train you. We ensure that our staff is properly trained and primed for success. Training includes 1:1 coaching with our dentist(s) and training with digital dentistry.

- 401 K (matching) available after 90 day review

Monday: 845AM-5PM Southampton location

Tuesday: 845AM-6PM Levittown

Wednesday: 945AM-6PM Levittown

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
