Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties

Assist the Executive Chef in planning and executing menu development, focusing on innovative and high-quality dishes
Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance on food preparation, presentation, and safety protocols
Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency, freshness, and adherence to dietary requirements
Manage inventory control and ordering to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations across all kitchen areas
Coordinate catering events and banquet services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service
Lead by example in food handling, cooking techniques, and customer service to foster a positive team environment

Skills

Extensive experience in banquet settings and catering operations
Proven supervising and team management experience within a fast-paced kitchen environment
Strong background in dietary department procedures and special dietary accommodations
Expertise in food preparation, menu planning, and culinary techniques for fine dining experiences
Skilled in inventory management, food safety practices, and kitchen operations oversight
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members effectively
Knowledge of restaurant management principles including shift management and food service coordination
Familiarity with food industry standards such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and proper food handling procedures
Experience in hospitality settings with a focus on serving high-end clientele
