Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Operations Manager to lead our retail operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store functions, manage teams, and ensure seamless customer experiences. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, optimize sales performance, and foster a positive environment that motivates staff to deliver exceptional service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the success of our retail outlets through strategic management, innovative merchandising, and effective team development.

Duties

Lead and supervise retail sales teams, ensuring high levels of customer service and operational efficiency.
Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential.
Manage purchasing, pricing strategies, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accurate transactions and inventory control.
Coordinate employee orientation, training & development programs to enhance team skills and performance.
Handle recruiting efforts including interviewing candidates, onboarding new staff, and maintaining employee records.
Oversee payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and shift management to ensure smooth store operations.
Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase foot traffic and sales growth.
Maintain operational compliance with company policies and safety standards while managing budgets effectively.
Supervise cashiering, customer service interactions, and phone etiquette to uphold a positive shopping experience.
Conduct regular management meetings to review sales metrics, retail math calculations, and store performance indicators.

Experience

Proven management experience within the retail industry with a focus on sales team supervision and store operations.
Demonstrated success in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff in a fast-paced environment.
Strong background in inventory control, merchandising, pricing strategies, and POS systems.
Experience in budgeting, payroll administration, bookkeeping, and cash handling procedures.
Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse customer bases.
Previous assistant manager or supervisory roles with retail math proficiency are preferred.
Excellent organizational skills combined with leadership qualities that motivate teams toward shared goals.
Familiarity with grocery store or wireless sales environments is a plus but not required.
