Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are a marketing and advertising agency in Denton, Texas, seeking a dependable and organized Receptionist / Accounting Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for the company’s day-to-day accounting functions as well as receptionist and front office responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have accounting experience, be comfortable working independently, and have strong organizational and communication skills. This is an in-office position in Denton, Texas, working approximately 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Answer phones and handle general receptionist and front office duties
Greet clients and visitors
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare and process client invoices
Process payroll
Maintain accurate accounting and financial records
Enter and maintain financial information in QuickBooks
Perform general administrative and office duties as needed

Qualifications

Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience
Experience with QuickBooks Online
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage accounting responsibilities
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
Dependable and professional
Must be willing and able to work in our Denton, Texas office

This position is a good fit for someone who enjoys a combination of accounting, administrative, and front office responsibilities. We are looking for someone who is organized, accurate, dependable, and comfortable taking responsibility for the company’s day-to-day accounting functions.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
