Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee daily operations of our vibrant dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food and hospitality management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, controlling inventory, and maintaining overall restaurant performance to provide an outstanding dining experience for guests.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and kitchen management
Oversee staff training, development, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team environment
Manage shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels for smooth service flow
Implement and monitor food safety standards in compliance with health regulations
Control inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food production to minimize waste and maximize efficiency
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels
Oversee POS systems for accurate cash handling and sales reporting
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment in accordance with safety standards
Coordinate catering, banquet events, or bar services as needed
Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial planning to meet operational goals
Ensure compliance with all relevant hospitality regulations and industry best practices

Requirements

Proven management experience within the food service industry.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety protocols
Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams in a hospitality environment
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally
Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and food management processes
Background in culinary arts or fine dining is a plus; hospitality or hotel management experience is advantageous
Ability to train staff effectively and foster a positive team culture
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Previous experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles preferred; supervisory experience essential
Knowledge of food industry standards including catering, bar services, coffee/Barista experience is beneficial
