Overview

Meridian Reside LLC is a multi-state REO brokerage serving institutional lenders, loan servicers, and asset managers. We handle REO disposition, valuation, and property preservation across Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Texas, Alabama, and South Carolina. Our file volume is growing and we're building out the team to match. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented REO (Real Estate Owned) Asset Manager to lead the management and disposition of bank-owned properties. You'll manage REO assets from the moment a file hits our desk through list-ready condition. This is a coordination-heavy, detail-driven role — you'll be the person the servicer relies on to know exactly where every property stands. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the entire lifecycle of REO assets, from acquisition through sale or lease, ensuring maximum value and compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong property management experience, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Join us to play a vital role in optimizing real estate portfolios while delivering outstanding service to clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of REO properties
Coordinate property inspections, and repairs using property management tools such as company cam, monday.com, and appfolio
Complete initial REO onboarding, including occupancy verification and property condition assessment
Coordinate occupancy resolution: cash-for-keys negotiations, relocation assistance, and eviction referrals through completion
Order and track initial services — rekey/lock changes, trash-outs, debris removal, initial landscaping, board up/secure services and utility activation
Collaborate with legal teams on contracts, eviction proceedings, and conflict resolution with tenants or vendors
Maintain accurate data entry, filing, and record-keeping for all property transactions using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and other property management software
Communicate effectively with clients, tenants, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly and professionally
Maintain accurate, timely file notes and status updates in client portals and our internal systems
Hit client-mandated timelines and reporting deadlines consistently

Requirements

Proven experience in property management, property preservation or real estate administrative roles with a focus on REO assets
Strong written and verbal communication — you'll be on the phone and in email constantly, often in sensitive situations
Highly proficient on a PC in a multi-monitor, multi-platform environment (client portals, Excel, project management software)
Excellent conflict management skills coupled with effective negotiation abilities
Demonstrated ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Experience in legal administrative tasks related to contracts, lease agreements, and eviction processes
Office experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint for reporting and communication purposes
Exceptional customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette and client communication expertise
Organized and self-directed with the ability to manage a high file count without losing track of details
Knowledge of facilities management practices related to property maintenance and vendor coordination
Florida real estate license preferred but not required — we'll support the right candidate in obtaining one
Comfortable working across multiple states and time zones
