Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Hotel General Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams. As the driving force behind daily hotel management, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of guest service, optimizing revenue, and ensuring smooth financial operations. Your proactive approach will foster a welcoming environment that promotes guest satisfaction and team engagement, contributing to the overall success of the property.

Duties

Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk management, housekeeping, food and beverage services, and maintenance to ensure seamless guest experiences
Supervise and manage hospitality teams, providing leadership, training, and performance feedback to foster a motivated and professional staff
Manage hospitality operations budgets, including forecasting, expense control, and revenue management strategies to maximize profitability
Implement and uphold hotel guest service standards to deliver outstanding customer service and enhance guest relations
Utilize property management systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation systems to optimize booking processes and improve operational efficiency
Oversee human resources functions such as hiring, onboarding, staff scheduling, and compliance with employment laws
Monitor financial operations including budgeting, night audit procedures, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and accountability
Maintain property safety standards by conducting regular inspections, managing emergency procedures, and ensuring compliance with health regulations
Foster a positive work environment through effective managerial communication, team management, and conflict resolution strategies
Enhance guest satisfaction by addressing guest concerns promptly via multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette

Experience

Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations with supervisory responsibilities minimum 5 years of experience in similar capacity
Strong background in overseeing daily hotel functions across multiple departments such as front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance
Demonstrated success in managing hospitality teams with excellent leadership skills in team management and human resources practices
Extensive experience with revenue management techniques and budgeting within a hospitality setting
Proficiency in property management systems (PMS), hospitality reservation systems, multi-line phone systems, and night audit procedures
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively
Exceptional customer service skills combined with strong managerial communication capabilities to lead teams effectively
