Catering Manager
Swahili Village Bar and Restaurant
Full-Time | Hospitality & Events

Swahili Village Bar and Restaurant is seeking an experienced, energetic, and hospitality-driven Catering Manager to lead and grow our catering operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in relationship-building, event execution, sales development, and creating memorable guest experiences rooted in culture, flavor, and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Drive catering sales through community outreach, networking, and client relationship management
Coordinate and execute catering events from inquiry through completion
Develop proposals, menus, and event packages tailored to client needs
Collaborate with kitchen and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution
Manage catering logistics including staffing, timelines, deliveries, and setup
Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and hospitality
Build relationships with corporate clients, community organizations, wedding planners, and local businesses
Track sales performance, event profitability, and operational efficiency
Assist with marketing initiatives and social media promotion related to catering services

Qualifications Section

2+ years of catering, restaurant management, or event sales experience preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Proven ability to generate sales and maintain client relationships
Leadership mindset with strong attention to detail
Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to drive company or personal vehicle for catering deliveries, site visits, and event execution
Passion for hospitality, culture, and guest experience
