What Does a Typical Day Look Like? Here are your primary responsibilities:
- Lead all maintenance and engineering activities to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective plant operations.
- Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to support production and reliability goals.
- Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution, including plant shutdowns and turnarounds.
- Provide engineering leadership for capital projects, plant modifications, and process improvements.
- Partner with Operations, Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Finance teams to achieve site objectives.
- Drive compliance with OSHA PSM, Mechanical Integrity, MOC, and environmental regulations.
- Use data, KPIs, and reliability metrics to identify improvement opportunities and guide decision-making.
What is Needed to be Successful in this Role (Required Skills/Abilities):
- Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance leadership experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably chemical manufacturing.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in maintenance, engineering, or reliability functions.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and industrial equipment systems.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, capital projects, and maintenance programs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Experience with OSHA PSM, Mechanical Integrity, MOC, and HAZOP processes.
- Familiarity with CMMS, predictive maintenance technologies, and reliability tools, SAP preferred.
- Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and industry standards.
- Experience supporting sustainability or energy-reduction initiatives.
