Job Description

Laurel Ford is seeking a motivated Automotive Sales Representative to join our growing, high-energy sales team. In this position, you will guide guests through their entire vehicle purchase journey, from the initial warm greeting on the lot to the final delivery of their new Ford or high-quality pre-owned vehicle.

We are looking for natural relationship-builders who possess excellent communication skills and a positive, competitive spirit. We provide a steady stream of inbound showroom floor and digital internet traffic, giving you every tool necessary to maximize your unit sales and commissions from day one. Whether you are an experienced automotive professional or a retail expert looking to upgrade your career, we provide the training and environment you need to thrive.

Pay:

$60,000 -$80,000 per year
Performance bonuses and volume incentives tied to monthly unit targets and customer satisfaction scores.

Work Requirements

Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
Ability to commute to Laurel, MS.
Professional appearance, punctual work ethic, and excellent verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Customer Consultation: Greet customers warmly, build rapport, assess their automotive needs, and guide them to the ideal new Ford or pre-owned vehicle.
Product Demonstration: Maintain a deep understanding of the Ford vehicle lineup, including trim packages, towing capacities, and technological features to conduct expert presentations and test drives.
Deal Structuring: Work transparently alongside Sales Managers to present pricing, trade-in valuations, and financing configurations to guests.
CRM Management: Maintain detailed customer profiles and proactive follow-up schedules in the dealership CRM platform to foster repeat business and client referrals.
Delivery Excellence: Oversee the vehicle delivery process, ensuring the vehicle is meticulously detailed and the customer is comfortable with their new vehicle settings.
CSI Standards: Achieve high Customer Service Index scores by delivering an easy, transparent, and pressure-free buying experience.

Qualifications

Previous sales experience in retail, hospitality, wireless, real estate, or automotive is preferred but not required. We will train the right attitude.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with a strong internal drive to meet and exceed monthly goals.
Strong listening skills with the ability to handle customer objections professionally and confidently.
Comfort using digital tools, texting apps, and email to stay in touch with active buyers.
Flexibility to work retail hours, including Saturdays.
