JOB DESCRIPTION - MID Facilitator - PART TIME

Job Summary

The Riverbend MID Facilitator is a fee-for-service role requiring a 16-week commitment (per cohort) to cover a state-structured psychoeducational curriculum for first offenders of an OUI driving offense. Each cohort meets in a 2-hour weekly group.

Responsibilities

· Facilitate weekly MID groups (in 16-week cohorts) in-person or virtual following the state-structured group educational program for individuals who have experienced their first offense of an OUI and are seeking to regain their license.

· Complete individualized treatment plans, goals and objectives, and progress notes for all group participants in each assigned cohort.

· Track attendance and participation of all group participants in cohort to support good standing and compliance with the program.

· Coordinate services with other clinical treatment team providers as needed on an individualized basis.

· Maintain client records in a timely manner according to agency and regulatory standards.

· Complete individualized exit evaluations and facilitate referrals to other agencies/vendors when appropriate for all group participants.

· Communicate with other Riverbend MID staff as well as other involved parties.

· Participate in regular supervision with the Clinical Supervisor.

· Opportunities for facilitating one-time make-up groups on an as-needed basis.

· Other duties as assigned.

· Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines

· Proficiency in navigating electronic health record systems and videotelephony software

· programs (e.g. Zoom)

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and crisis management skills

· Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment

Physical demands

· Must be able to sit or stand for an extended period.

· Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.

Preferred education and experience

· A bachelor’s degree in social work or related human services and a minimum of two years of supervised substance abuse counseling experience.

· A recognized certification or licensure, including 4,000 hours of clinically supervised counseling of individuals with substance use disorders, including at least 220 documented hours of supervision.

Preferred Experience or Skills

Bilingualism/multilingualism in English and Spanish, Portuguese, Khmer, or other prevalent languages spoken in the greater Lowell region
