Full Job Description

We keep commercial facilities running. Loading docks, high speed doors, rolling steel, sectional doors, levelers, restraints, seals and shelters, and the operators behind all of it. When a distribution center loses a dock position or a manufacturer has a door down, they call us.

We are looking for a Commercial Sales Representative to cover additional Georgia territories. This is primarily a field based role. You must live in (or near) Georgia and be able to travel throughout your assigned territory. It is a full time, salaried position with commission on top, so you get the stability of a base and the upside of what you sell.

Who This Is Built For: You already sell in the commercial space. You are comfortable in a warehouse, on a construction site, or in a facility manager's office. You can read a situation, ask better questions than the last person who quoted the job, and explain why the right solution costs what it costs.

If you have been selling residential retail and want to move into commercial accounts with real ticket sizes and repeat business, we will train the technical side. What we cannot teach is drive, follow through, and the willingness to get your boots dirty.

What You Will Actually Do

Find and develop the work - Build a territory of commercial accounts: distribution and fulfillment centers, manufacturing plants, cold storage, municipalities, property management groups, general contractors, and facility maintenance teams. Work assigned service leads and grow them into full relationships rather than one time transactions.
Survey and specify - Walk the site. Measure openings. Identify the failure point instead of the symptom. Match the customer to the right product and configuration, whether that is a like for like replacement, an upgrade that solves a recurring problem, or a phased capital plan.
Quote and close - Build accurate proposals that account for material, labor, freight, permits, and site conditions. Present clearly. Handle procurement processes, competitive bids, and the occasional purchasing committee. Follow up until you have an answer, not until you feel awkward.
Protect the margin - Price with confidence. Know your cost structure. Do not buy the job to win it.
Hand off cleanly and stay involved - Coordinate with operations, service, and install teams so the scope you sold is the scope that gets performed. Stay in front of the customer through completion and beyond.
Grow the base - Convert reactive service calls into planned maintenance agreements and scheduled replacement work. Recurring revenue is how a territory compounds.

What Separates Our Strongest Reps

They know their numbers cold: pipeline, close rate, average ticket, margin.
They return calls the same day, every day.
They walk through the whole facility, not just the door they were called about.
They tell the customer the truth, including when the answer is "you do not need that yet."
They own a missed number instead of blaming the lead source.
They are the person the facility manager calls first, by name.

What We Require:

Two or more years of business to business outside sales experience, ideally in dock and door, overhead door, material handling, industrial equipment, HVAC, roofing, or a related commercial trade
Demonstrated ability to manage a full sales cycle from prospecting through close
Comfort reading measurements and basic construction documents
Working proficiency with CRM software, email, and mobile applications (we use ServiceTitan)
Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets our insurance requirements
Ability to walk facilities and job sites, climb stairs and ladders, and work in varying temperatures and conditions
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Successful completion of a background check and pre employment drug screen

Nice to have: Experience with loading dock equipment, commercial door systems, or industrial service contracts. Existing relationships in the local commercial or industrial market.

Most sales jobs hand you a territory someone else already built and ask you to maintain it. This one is different. We are growing, and the person who takes this seat gets to shape what the territory becomes.

You will not be selling a product nobody needs. Every facility we serve has doors and docks that are already failing, already costing them downtime, already on someone's problem list. The work is there. What we need is someone who can walk in, earn trust, and solve it properly.

We are not looking for the person with the slickest pitch. We are looking for the one the customer keeps calling back, the one who shows up when they said they would, and the one who would rather build a fifteen-year account than win a single job at any cost. If you have been that person somewhere else and you have outgrown the ceiling there, we should talk.
