Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Practice Manager, where your leadership and organizational skills will drive the success of our medical practice. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and optimize financial performance. Your expertise in medical office management and passion for delivering exceptional patient care will help foster a thriving, efficient environment that meets both provider and patient needs. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team within a fast-paced, patient-centered setting.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all administrative and clinical staff, ensuring smooth daily operations within the practice.
Manage financial activities including budgeting, medical billing, coding accuracy, and revenue cycle management using systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks.
Oversee compliance with healthcare laws such as HIPAA and JCAHO standards, maintaining meticulous medical records and ensuring confidentiality of patient information.
Coordinate patient management processes utilizing EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems and patient management software to enhance patient flow and satisfaction.
Implement policies related to health regulation standards, managed care protocols, utilization management, and medical administrative support functions.
Monitor clinic performance metrics, analyze financial reports, and develop strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
Facilitate human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and managing healthcare staff to foster a motivated team environment.

Requirements

Proven experience in medical office or healthcare practice management with a strong background in office management and healthcare operations.
Extensive knowledge of medical billing, coding (including Epic or eClinicalWorks), EMR/EHR systems, and patient management software.
Demonstrated supervisory experience managing teams within a healthcare setting; excellent managerial communication skills are essential.
Familiarity with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, JCAHO accreditation standards, and health policy compliance.
Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue cycle oversight.
Ability to navigate complex medical terminology and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with legal standards.
Experience in dental or veterinary clinics is considered a plus; acute care or hospital experience is highly valued.
