Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in home setting environments, contributing to the overall health and well-being of disabled clients. Traveling from home to home you will have the opportunity to make your own schedule, enhance your skills and grow professionally while making a significant impact on patient lives.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate health status and develop individualized care plans.
Monitor and manage patients' conditions, including ventilatory support when necessary.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively.
Provide education and support to patients and their families/house staff regarding treatment plans and health management.
Participate in memory care initiatives for patients with cognitive impairments.
Ensure a safe environment for patients by following established protocols and procedures.

Experience

Current RN license in good standing.
Familiarity with medical office procedures and documentation practices is advantageous.
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient confidentiality.
Medication management.
Staff education within the homes.
Previous experience in patient assessment, IV infusion, and ventilatory management is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
Experience in computer charting.
Experience working with intellectually disabled clients is preferred but not required.
