Full Job Description

Data Engineer: Design and develop database system based on analysis of user requirements. Develop tools in Python, SQL and PySpark to automate reading, cleaning, and loading data from AWS S3 buckets, Snowflake and Redshift tables as well as various other file formats. Present findings of analyses in either Jupyter notebooks, Excel or QuickSight based on customer preference. Perform validation of ETL jobs in Python and SQL along with qualitative and quantitative analysis of the source and target. Provide detailed reports and visualizations as required. Primary worksite is Austin TX but relocation possible. Req: Master degree in Computer Science or related with 6 months experience as Data Engineer or Software Engineer/Developer or IT consultant or related. Ref: #425.
