Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator, Administration Department

Work Hour: 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri / On-Site

Language: English/ Bi-Lingual in Japanese a plus

We are seeking a dedicated and detail -oriented Human Resources Coordinator with experience in multi-states to join our team.

Duties:

Daily job duties and responsibilities

Respond to employee HR questions such as payroll and benefits
Create and distribute HR emails and related documents
Liaison with the company's 3rd party payroll & benefits service provider
Assist in resolving employee complaints, conflict resolution and appropriate documentation
Contact with HR compliance service platforms for consulting and guidance on various employment matters
Prepare/Administer Employee Leave/ADA/Disability/Unemployment
Assist with compliance reporting such as ACA, OSHA, Federal, State, worker's compensation required postings
Assist with creating and implementing new and current policies
Promoting employee welfare

New Hire and Termination Process

Collecting employment and tax information
Preparing new employee files
Overseeing the completion of compensation and benefit documentation
Orienting new employees to the company
Conducting benefit enrollment process
Serving as a point person for all new employee questions
Preparation of termination paperwork including necessary state documents
Assist with exit interviews

Payroll and Benefits Administration

Assist 3rd party payroll service provider with multistate payroll processing across the organizaiton which includes ensuring time cards and payrolls are processed timely and correctly
Respond to employee payroll and benefit questions
Facilitating resolutions to any payroll problems

Record Maintenance

Maintain current HR files and databases
Updating and maintaining employee benefits, employment status, and similar records
Performing file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained
Performing payroll/benefit-related reconciliations
Assist in performing payroll and benefits audits and recommending any action

Qualifications/Skills:

Human resources management certificate
3+ years of HR experience with a focus on employee relations, compliance, and engagement programs
Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations in multistates
Familiarity with workforce management practices
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality
A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and process improvement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
