Full Job Description

A well-established Professional Services company in Lee’s Summit is looking for an experienced Office Manager / Bookkeeper to serve as the firm’s central operational and administrative leader. This position will report to the partners and will lead operations, finance & accounting, HR, facilities, and technology.

Responsibilities will include:

Full cycle Accounting including payables, receivables, billing, journal entries and reconciliations, as well as month and year end close reports.
Human resources duties including recruiting and onboarding, payroll & benefits administration, and performance reviews.
Facility operations including office supplies, mail, storage, and maintaining vendor and insurance contacts.
Oversee firm’s documenting and coordinate technology upgrades and licensing.
Audit current workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement and help develop growth strategies.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in operations, administration, and/or business management in a professional services office.
Strong background in both Accounting and HR.
Demonstrated history of process improvement.
Outstanding communication and conflict resolution skills.
