Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will support daily accounting operations, manage financial data entry, and assist with bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial records. Your organizational skills and technical proficiency will help streamline processes, improve restaurant ordering efficiency, and contribute to the overall success of our restaurant group. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about finance, administration, and staff support to grow their career in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Perform data entry of financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks and maintain accurate records of accounts receivable and payable
Manage office administrative tasks including filing, document proofreading, and organizing spreadsheets with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
Handle multi-line phone systems to respond to client inquiries, schedule appointments, and provide exceptional customer service
Assist with calendar management and appointment scheduling for finance or administrative teams
Support restaurant management duties such as supply ordering, maintaining equipment, and overseeing operations
Prepare reports, invoices, and financial statements with attention to detail and accuracy
Communicate effectively with clients and team members via phone, email, or in person while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills
This position may require an on-call schedule

Experience

Prior experience in account management or administrative support is highly preferred
Demonstrated proficiency in computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and productivity software
Experience with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar accounting tools is advantageous
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for diverse client interactions
Previous roles involving customer service, front desk responsibilities, or restaurant experience are beneficial
Familiarity with data entry, filing systems, proofreading documents, and maintaining accurate records is essential
