Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project scope through detailed consultations.
- Create precise and visually compelling cabinet layouts using Chief Architect.
- Develop comprehensive design plans that incorporate lighting, fixtures, and materials to optimize space and aesthetics.
- Present product demos and design proposals confidently to clients, emphasizing features that align with their vision.
- Assist customers in selecting materials, finishes, hardware, and accessories to enhance their custom cabinetry projects.
- Coordinate with the production and engineering teams during the project to ensure designs are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service, follow-up communication, and personalized solutions.
- Manage project documentation using CRM systems and maintain organized records of client interactions and sales activities.
Qualifications
- Experience in cabinet design, interior design, or related construction sales roles with a focus on high-end markets.
- Experience in Chief Architect, SketchUp, CAD software, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems for effective project planning and client management.
- Strong knowledge of layout design principles, lighting design, remodeling and construction processes.
- Construction experience or background in renovation projects is highly desirable.
- Great communication skills—both verbal and written—to communicate both with clients and partners/team members.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for estimating costs, measurements, and retail transactions accurately.
