Full Job Description

Young at Heart is currently seeking compassionate and dependable Home Care Aides, Caregivers, and CNAs to provide one-on-one care and companionship for seniors in the comfort of their own homes located in La Grange, Riverside, Lyons, Oak Park, Willow Springs and the surrounding communities.

In this role, you will provide one-on-one support while assisting with personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, mobility assistance, and other daily living activities based on each client's individual care needs.

We are seeking candidates with consistent availability between 9:00am and 6:00pm to accommodate a variety of client assignments. Additional evening and weekend availability are a plus and may provide opportunities for additional hours. * We do require candidates to have availability of one weekend per month (within the availability provided) to assist with in-home care shifts.

This part-time position offers consistent weekly client assignments, with opportunities for additional hours based on your availability, travel radius, and client needs. Additional hours may be available for caregivers who are open to split shifts and multiple client assignments.

Experience providing care for individuals living with dementia or memory loss is strongly preferred. We are seeking patient, compassionate caregivers committed to providing quality care.

In-person interviews will be held at Young At Heart, 300 Village Circle, Unit A, Willow Springs, IL 60480.

Job Requirements

Are preferred to have at least 3 months of caregiving experience or CNA certification - we are willing to train great candidates for those that do not have experience
Experience caring for individuals with dementia or memory loss is strongly preferred
Be open to working with both male and female clients
Be available to work one required weekend per month (within your availability)
Possess a valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and vehicle insurance
At least a high school diploma, or equivalent
Be able to commute to client's homes that may include the following areas: La Grange, Riverside, Oak Park, Willow Springs and the surrounding areas.
Pass an IDPH criminal background clearance/fingerprinting
Be compassionate, friendly, and reliable
