Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to lead our restaurant team to success! Duties

Assist in managing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and shift management to ensure smooth service flow.
Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performance culture.
Oversee food preparation and presentation standards, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and quality benchmarks.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation with accuracy.
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
Support kitchen management by supervising food production processes, maintaining cleanliness standards, and coordinating catering or banquet services when needed.
Conduct staff interviews and participate in hiring decisions to build a talented team aligned with company values.
Analyze profit and loss statements regularly to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction strategies.
Uphold food safety standards through regular training on food handling procedures and compliance with health regulations.

Skills

Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety management.
Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
Demonstrated ability in inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis within a hospitality environment.
Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams, managing shifts, and training staff across various roles including culinary teams.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and effectively.
Experience in managing hospitality teams in casual dining or fine dining settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
Ability to oversee kitchen operations, food production processes, and ensure adherence to safety standards.
Competency in managing food industry regulations related to food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices.
Effective communication skills for interviewing candidates, conducting staff training sessions, and collaborating with management teams.
Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, foster development opportunities, and promote a positive work environment.
