Full Job Description

Junior Sous Chef,

As Junior Sous Chef you will act as a bridge between line cooks and senior kitchen management. Responsibilities will include assisting the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs by working alongside line cooks and dishwashers to achieve the goals and standards set by management. He or she will supervise daily prep, manage and report inventory, receive, store, organize, and distribute food and supplies within the kitchens and club facilities while rotating inventory using the FIFO method. All while maintaining the quality and standards set by Management .

Must have open availability, be able to work all holidays, nights, and weekends.

Job Tasks Requirements:

Arrive on time, dressed in complete, clean uniform and report to your assigned station at your scheduled time.
Carefully follow all standardized recipes and specs when preparing all food items in the kitchen.
Diligently completes mise en place forms and recovers all products needed for station in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor and promptly report to Executive Chef any missing or low quantity product for your station or recipe, to allow for timely reorder and replenishment.
Adheres to all state and local health and safety regulations.
Covers, dates and properly stores all food products on their stations.
Close and Clean Kitchen Line, Dish Area and Floor Maintenance Daily.
Team Player that can work well with others and communicate effectively.
