Event Assistant - Entry-Level

Location: Kansas City, MO

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00–$25.00 per hour

About the Role

Rally Strategies is seeking an Entry-Level Event Assistant to join our team in Kansas City. This is an in-person position supporting the day-to-day coordination and operation of promotional events for our clients.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced team members to help prepare event spaces, welcome attendees, answer general questions, and provide excellent customer service throughout scheduled events. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, communicates professionally, and is eager to develop new skills in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

-Assist with the setup and breakdown of promotional events.

-Greet customers and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

-Provide accurate information about featured products, services, and promotions.

-Answer general customer questions and direct inquiries when appropriate.

-Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming event environment.

-Work collaboratively with team members to support successful event execution.

-Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.

-Follow company policies and client guidelines at all times.

Qualifications

-Must be authorized to work in the United States.

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

-Professional attitude with a positive work ethic.

-Reliable, punctual, and organized.

-Comfortable working in a customer-facing environment.

-Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or events is beneficial but not required.
