Job Summary

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper, where your dedication to cleanliness and guest satisfaction will shine! In this vital role, you will ensure that guest rooms, public areas, and hotel facilities are impeccably maintained, creating a welcoming and hygienic environment for all visitors. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help uphold our reputation for excellence in hospitality. Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, bed making, and bathroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
Handle chemical agents safely by adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for yourself and guests.
Use janitorial equipment effectively, including vacuums, floor scrubbers, and other cleaning tools to deliver high-quality results.
Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or supplies while following manual handling safety protocols.
Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns to ensure guest and staff safety at all times.
Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or sanitation concerns promptly to management.

Skills

Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of hospitality standards.
Ability to handle chemical agents safely while maintaining high standards of sanitation and hygiene.
Skilled in operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
Willingness to learn and adjust as needed.
