Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive sustainable growth. As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, risk analysis, regulatory reporting, and strategic planning. Your leadership will ensure fiscal integrity, optimize revenue management, and support business development initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the financial future of a dynamic organization committed to excellence and innovation. This role is in office at Lexington KY.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals for business development.
Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring compliance.
Lead financial analysis efforts, including profit & loss management, financial statement interpretation, forecasting, and modeling to support strategic decision-making.
Manage risk assessment processes, implementing effective risk management strategies related to market analysis, regulatory changes, and operational vulnerabilities.
Supervise treasury management activities such as cash flow forecasting, expense control, cost management, and supply chain finance to optimize liquidity and fiscal health.
Oversee compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) requirements and ensure accurate regulatory reporting across governmental and non-profit sectors.
Collaborate with senior leadership on corporate strategy initiatives, including business development opportunities, and market expansion efforts.
Direct budgeting processes, expense management, payroll oversight, and cost control measures to maintain financial discipline across the organization.

Requirements

Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role such as Senior Controller, Finance Director or CFO within a complex organization or industry with knowledge of financial regulations.
Extensive background in corporate finance, financial analysis, strategic planning, and risk management with a focus on revenue cycle management and profit & loss oversight.
Expertise in financial software systems with proficiency in financial modeling tools and advanced Excel skills for forecasting analysis.
Excellent leadership abilities with experience supervising teams, managing cross-functional projects, and influencing executive decision-making.
Exceptional analytical skills combined with a deep understanding of industry-specific financial concepts and market analysis techniques.
Strong negotiation skills coupled with strategic thinking to drive organizational growth while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Ability to interpret complex financial data into clear reports that inform strategic decisions while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
