Part-time RN (laser treatment nurse-- training provided) Lexington, KY
(great if you're tired of bedside and want to learn more!)

Quick Summary:

Part-time (about 25 hours per week). Min 3 days. Every other Saturday.
Must be Registered Nurse or NP.
Compensation: $27-32/hr, PLUS monthly bonus opportunities, PLUS $3,000 sign-on bonus paid out in thirds on a schedule.
No insurance benefits are provided, but other nice benefits listed below.

Uptown Laser Hair Removal is the premier laser hair removal provider in Lexington, KY. Our treatments are only performed by highly-trained Nurses and Nurse Practitioners. Due to being locally-owned by talented and experienced nurse, we are able to offer high-quality laser treatments that yield permanent results at a fraction of the cost of the national chains. Thanks to the rapid growth and popularity of our service, we are welcoming additional nursing talent to our dynamic and fun team!

Job Overview

Essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

Administers laser treatments in accordance with Uptown Laser high-quality standards.
Establish and maintain rapport with clients in order to ensure overall customer service satisfaction of clients.
Evaluate client’s suitability for all available services/treatments and perform most treatments that same day.
Pursue opportunities to educate clients on additional services.
Educate clients on all treatment processes including pre and post-treatment care guidelines.
Perform maintenance checks on lasers to ensure systems are operating appropriately.
Maintain cleanliness and appearance of treatment rooms between each client.
Annotate and post appropriate information and maintain accurate client treatment records/data in the client’s medical chart.
Sustain proficiency through continuous education and trainings.
Willingness to cross train into other roles and spa services to help other team members as needed
All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Active Kentucky Registered Nurse license, must be in good standing.
Relevant industry experience preferred, but not required.
Warm and welcoming bedside manner an absolute must
Commitment to providing the highest levels of customer service at all times
Ability to complete detailed paperwork.
Exceptional teamwork skills.
Maintains professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Ability to meet U.S. employment and eligibility requirements.
Able to lift 50 pounds
Able to stand for 9 hours
Able to pass a pre-employment background check prior to employment
Spanish language proficiency a big plus, but not required

Hours: Mon-Friday 10:00am-7pm, Sat 9:00 am-4 pm
