Full Job Description

Our fast-paced, farm-to-table café is seeking a back of house employee to join our team. We are seeking both part-time and full-time hires. The ideal candidate will have prior relatable experience working in a fast paced environment/ restaurant. In this role, the hired candidate will cooke food on a line, prep food, work with kitchen utensils including knives & slicers, occasionally run food from kitchen to customer, wash dishes, and put away deliveries along with other responsibilities. You are ultimately responsible for providing friendly customer service at all times and will be expected to show up on time to all scheduled shifts. This is a great opportunity that offers reasonable hours/ shifts & hourly wages.

Candidates must legally be able to work in the United States.

Responsibilities:
– Transporting food orders from kitchen to bagging / table
– Put away orders in timely manner
– Scrubbing pots/ pans & dishes
– Cleaning, sweeping, mopping and general upkeep of store appearance
– Stocking drink cooler/ transportation of dry goods to floor
– Assist with inventory & ordering
– Willingness to learn all aspects of kitchen

Requirements:
– Past work experience in similar environment
– Available to work weekends/ holidays
– Excellent verbal communication skills
– Excellent interpersonal + teamwork skills
– Physically able to lift/ transport dry goods up to 50 lbs ex: packs of water, glass drinks, chips, paper goods, gallons of milk etc
– Knife skills preferred but not required
– Occasional baking of café goods
– Grill/ line work
– Able to work with slicer

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
