Do you want to use your social media skills at work? North End Subaru and Mazda is hiring a BDC Representative. There has never been a better time to advance your career in the automotive industry. This individual will play one of the most important roles in the dealership in growing business and driving sales.

We are growing and looking to add a talented individual to our Business Development Center. The BDC (Business Development Center) Representative focuses on increasing the sales traffic of the dealer by handling inbound sales calls and making outbound calls which produce solid and specific appointments for the sales department. The BDC Rep acts as the essential communications link between the customer and the dealership. Must be friendly, patient, enthusiastic and a self-motivated team player with outstanding communication skills, a positive attitude, and an excellent work ethic. The primary goal of our BDC and anyone on our internet team is to match the customer with the right car. Transparency and trust are at the heart of what we do and the principles we strive to live by. We believe in making the sales process as seamless and easy as possible for every customer. Rather than using a one-size-fits all approach, we try and tailor our process to the customer, as every single one has different needs, wants, and expectations.

Customers’ buying habits have changed, and business is booming. We need you to help us handle our increase in customer traffic.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

This position will be responsible for handling leads, inbound phone calls and customer retention.
Follow up on customer leads and build relationships with clients to close sales
Make phone calls
Set appointments
Automotive experience is a plus, but training will be provided to the right candidate
Customer service skills
Telephone etiquette
Computer proficiency
Listen and be attentive to customer needs
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to details and works well in a process-driven environment
Representing the dealership professionally and enthusiastically
Understands automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features; comparing and contrasting competitive models; inspecting automobiles.
Utilize CRM system daily
Outgoing Personality
Team-oriented
Must be able to work some to all Saturday’s
Provides administrative assistance as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
Helps to ensure that the BDC/phones are not left unattended
Asks every customer for the appointment during any call
Adds detailed notes to customers CRM accounts for each correspondence including, but not limited to, stock numbers, price, or lease quotes along with all e-mails back and forth.
Ensures that all appointments are given to management so that the car of choice may be staged for the customer
Attends all Company meetings as required by the position
Supports other agents in the department when necessary
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Properly inform and advise customers on what to expect with their appointments
Bi-lingual is always a plus!
Research and stay current in consumer and industry trends
Stay up to date on BDC/Sales Best Practices and Product Knowledge
Ability to multi-task
Daily and Monthly performance reporting
