Full Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented F&I (Finance & Insurance) Manager to lead our automotive finance and insurance operations. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the financing process, presenting insurance options, and ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations. Your expertise will help maximize dealership profitability while delivering exceptional customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the customer experience, develop strong client relationships, and drive sales success within a fast-paced automotive environment.

Responsibilities

Facilitate the financing process by working closely with customers to secure auto loans and lease agreements that meet their needs and budgets.
Present and explain various insurance products, including extended warranties, GAP coverage, and other add-ons, effectively upselling to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.
Conduct thorough credit analysis and transaction structuring to ensure compliance with all loan regulations such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act) and industry-specific automotive sales regulations.
Manage loan processing activities, including title processing, contract preparation, and submission to financial institutions or lenders.
Maintain strong customer relationships through clear communication, transparent negotiations, and personalized service throughout the financing journey.
Ensure adherence to all financial regulatory compliance standards, including credit analysis protocols and documentation accuracy.
Utilize industry-standard financial software such as CDK, TEKION or equivalent platforms for transaction management, deal structuring, and reporting.
Collaborate with sales teams to identify upselling opportunities while maintaining integrity and compliance in all transactions.
Stay informed about evolving automotive financing laws, industry knowledge of financial regulations, and best practices to ensure dealership compliance at all times.

Skills

Proven experience in loan officer roles within the automotive or financial services industries with a strong understanding of credit analysis and transaction structuring.
Exceptional customer relationship management skills to foster trust and loyalty throughout the financing process.
Deep knowledge of automotive sales industry regulations, including TILA, title processing procedures, and dealership compliance standards.
Strong negotiation skills combined with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to clients.
Proficiency in financial software such as CDK, TEKION or similar platforms for loan processing and deal management.
Excellent math skills including basic calculations, 10-key typing proficiency, and attention to detail for accurate contract preparation.
Experience in upselling insurance products like extended warranties or GAP coverage while maintaining compliance with all legal requirements.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

Provide recommendations and assistance to customers in order to arrange the financing of their purchases. Present customers with additional product offerings to enhance their vehicle and ownership experience.
Ensure sales are structured to produce the highest profitability.
Maintains proficiency and certifications as required for the position.
Accurately desks deals, submits deals to lenders for approval, makes credit decisions, and effectively closes deals.
Ensure every deal is fully aligned with local, state and federal guidelines.
Prepares paperwork, contracts and delivers deals.
Accurately audit team deals Post-Sale and deeply analyze for improvements.
Guarantee the expeditious funding of all contracts.

Qualifications

Eagerness to improve
College degree preferred or equivalent experience
Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures
Proficient at structuring deals for maximum profitability
Well-versed in title laws and registration process
Professional personal appearance and extraordinary verbal/written communication skills
Expertise in negotiation and presentation skills
Valid driver’s license
