Company Overview

Meadows Surgery Center is a licensed ambulatory surgery center in New Jersey, operating since 2006 and accredited by AAAHC. With two operating rooms, we specialize in ENT, orthopedic surgery, and pain management, catering to a diverse patient population, including pediatrics.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Operating Room at Meadows Surgery Center. In this Per Diem role, you will play a critical part in providing exceptional patient care during surgical procedures, ensuring safety and efficiency in the operating room environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures.
Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Monitor patients' vital signs and provide post-operative care as needed.
Implement infection control measures to maintain a sterile environment.
Collaborate with surgical techs and other staff to ensure smooth workflow in the OR.
Educate patients and their families on post-operative care instructions.

Requirements

Current RN license in the state of New Jersey.
Experience in an operating room setting required
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and infection control practices.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
