Front Desk Coordinator & Office Administrator

Position Overview

Global IT is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Front Desk Coordinator & Office Administrator to join our team immediately. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, coordinating daily office activities, and creating a positive first impression for students, visitors, and business partners.

Location: Southfield, Michigan
Schedule: 32–40 Hours per Week (Based on Eligibility)

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, students, and callers with professionalism and courtesy.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls and schedule appointments.
Respond to emails and general inquiries in a timely manner.
Maintain office calendars, appointments, and meeting schedules.
Assist prospective students with information, registration paperwork, and course-related inquiries.
Perform data entry and maintain accurate digital and paper filing systems.
Support daily office operations and administrative activities.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Ensure records are maintained accurately and in compliance with company policies.
Provide exceptional customer service to students, clients, and staff.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of receptionist, office administration, or customer service experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and work independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general office software.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
