Located in a peaceful residential neighborhood in Westminster, California, our facility has a SNF and Special Treatment Program that specializes in providing compassionate, specialized care for residents with Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of Dementia, and Mental Health. Our dedicated team of healthcare professionals is committed to delivering personalized and respectful care within a secure environment.

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dietary Services Supervisor to lead our dietary department. This role involves overseeing meal planning, purchasing, maintaining regulatory compliance and staff supervision to ensure the delivery of high-quality nutritional care tailored to our residents’ needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive dietary department experience, budgeting skills and the ability to cook as needed.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily dietary operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Follow established menus to meet residents’ dietary restrictions and preferences while adhering to regulatory guidelines.
Manage the dietary team by providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to foster a collaborative work environment.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans that incorporate nutrition goals and attend IDT meetings
Monitor inventory levels, control food costs, and manage budgeting for the dietary department efficiently.
Ensure all food preparation aligns with established menus, and regulatory guidelines.

Experience

Proven supervisory experience within a dietary or healthcare setting, preferably in a long-term care environments.
Extensive knowledge of food service principles as they relate to patient care.
Familiarity with patient assessment procedures, including compliance with therapeutic diets
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high standards of service quality.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive team culture focused on resident well-being.
Must know Point Click Care electronic records software
