What You’ll Do:

Work alongside our Executive Chef & Kitchen Manager to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies before service.
Execute food preparation and presentation to The Shed’s high standards.
Properly use and maintain kitchen equipment, following safety guidelines.
Open and close the kitchen following The Shed’s protocols and Health Department regulations.
Ensure all food storage areas are properly organized and products are stored safely and hygienically.

What We’re Looking For:

2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen ( upper casual / high-volume experience required).
Ability to work both day and evening shifts (two days off per week).
Strong teamwork skills and a positive, professional attitude.
Experience reading and following written recipes accurately.
Familiarity with receiving and organizing deliveries.
Exceptional knife skills and knowledge of major food prep techniques (breakfast/brunch experience a plus!).
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a calm and focused demeanor.
Physical stamina to stand for full shifts and lift 15+ lbs as needed.

Responsabilidades:

Trabajar en conjunto con nuestro Chef Ejecutivo y Gerente de Cocina para garantizar el buen funcionamiento de la cocina.
Mantener un entorno de trabajo limpio, organizado e higiénico, cumpliendo con todas las normas de seguridad y sanidad.
Preparar y abastecer las estaciones de cocina con los suministros necesarios antes del servicio.
Ejecutar la preparación y presentación de los alimentos según los altos estándares de The Shed.
Usar y mantener el equipo de cocina de manera segura y eficiente.
Abrir y cerrar la cocina siguiendo los protocolos de The Shed y las regulaciones del Departamento de Salud.
Asegurar que todas las áreas de almacenamiento estén organizadas y que los productos se conserven de manera segura e higiénica.

Requisitos:

Mínimo 2 años de experiencia en una cocina profesional (experiencia en restaurantes de categoría casual sofisticada preferida).
Posición de tiempo completo.
Disponibilidad para trabajar fines de semana y turnos de día y noche (con dos días libres por semana).
Excelentes habilidades para el trabajo en equipo y una actitud profesional y positiva.
Experiencia leyendo y siguiendo recetas escritas con precisión.
Conocimiento y experiencia en la recepción y organización de entregas.
Habilidad excepcional con el cuchillo y dominio de las principales técnicas de preparación de alimentos (experiencia en desayuno/brunch es un plus).
Capacidad para trabajar bajo presión y mantener un ambiente de trabajo tranquilo y organizado.
Resistencia física para estar de pie durante todo el turno y levantar más de 15 libras cuando sea necesario.
