With a team of over 350 professionals, we specialize in rental apartment communities across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. Under the leadership of our executives, who have owned and managed properties for more than 30 years, Eagle Rock Properties has emerged as a pioneering force in the industry.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to join our team. This role is ideal for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in business operations, process optimization, and cross-functional team collaboration. As a Procurement Intern, you will support day-to-day activities, help streamline processes, and contribute to projects that enhance efficiency and productivity.

This is a part-time internship flexible around your class schedule. This is an onsite role at our office in Plainview, NY

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with onboarding new vendors and guiding them through the RealPage Vendor Credentialing process.
Monitor and manage vendor recommendation change notices from RealPage, identifying vendors that may be non-compliant or require immediate attention.
Track vendor insurance expiration dates and proactively communicate with vendors prior to renewal deadlines to prevent coverage lapses and payment processing delays.
Utilize vendor credentialing reports and analytics to monitor enrollment progress and support compliance initiatives.
Manage Amazon Business user accounts, including adding and removing users, and assist with account administration and reporting.
Support procurement-related projects and administrative initiatives as assigned.
Maintain accurate records and ensure vendor information is current and compliant with company requirements.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal abilities.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
Professional business etiquette and the ability to communicate effectively with vendors via email and phone.
Analytical mindset with an interest in procurement, vendor management, and process improvement.
